Local Bistro Gets The Troutdale Touch
Bristol, TN — The Corner Bistro on 724 State Street in Bristol, Tennessee is now called Troutdale Bistro since the acquisition of the restaurant by local proprietor Ben Zandi, head of Troutdale Kitchens and owner of the Troutdale Dining Room. "From local farmers to local diners is the message we want to send to the Bristol area," said Ben in a recent interview. Their recipe for success is fresh organic ingredients (often acquired from the nearby State Street Farmer's Market) grown by local farmers and then prepared masterfully by executive chef Darrin Shelly, who is designing a menu influenced by Italian and regional cuisine. The menu will change seasonally and there will be creative and delicious weekly specials.Zandi explained "It's casual gourmet dining, all homemade from scratch." With entr?es between $9 — $19, it is a chance for more people to experience Troutdale culinary craftsmanship. Currently open for lunch, they will be available for dinner service after labor day. By October, the restaurant will be able to offer a wide variety of wines, regionally brewed beers, and cocktails. Thursday nights will feature an open mic for local musicians to entertain guests.
Troutdale Kitchens offers outsourcing, consulting, and complete renovation and rejuvenation of dining establishments and services.
